Using MeraGuru

MeraGuru is a free study platform for CBSE and ICSE students, Classes 1-12. By creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian should be aware you're using the service, since account creation requires an email address.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for anything that happens under your account. Each email address may only be linked to one account. Don't share your login with others or attempt to create multiple accounts to bypass any usage limits.

Acceptable use

Use MeraGuru for genuine study purposes. Specifically, don't:

• Upload content you don't have the right to use, or that's unlawful, harassing, or infringing.
• Attempt to abuse, overload, or automate requests against the AI generation features beyond normal study use.
• Attempt to bypass account verification, rate limits, or security measures (including the CAPTCHA).
• Use generated content to submit as officially graded coursework where that would violate your school's academic integrity policy - MeraGuru is a study and practice aid, not a substitute for your own understanding.

AI-generated content

Questions, notes, tutor answers, and other AI-generated content are produced automatically and, like any AI system, can occasionally contain errors - especially for short/long-answer grading, which is generally reliable but not infallible. Always use your own judgment, particularly before relying on generated content for an actual exam. Objective question types (MCQ, true/false, fill-in-the-blank) are graded by exact comparison, not AI, and are always accurate to the stored answer key.

The community question bank

AI-generated questions are shared to a community bank by default so other students benefit from what you generate, unless you mark a question private. Don't rely on shared questions as officially verified - they're AI-generated by other students' requests, same as your own.

The service is free, as-is

MeraGuru is provided free of charge, with no guarantee of uptime, accuracy, or availability of any specific feature indefinitely. We may add, change, or remove features, and may introduce usage limits in the future - if we do, our commitment is that features that are free today stay free for existing use, not a bait-and-switch into a paywall. The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.

Ending your account

You can stop using MeraGuru at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, particularly repeated abuse of the acceptable-use section above. Contact us if you'd like your account and data deleted.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change meaningfully, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use MeraGuru after a change means you accept the updated terms.
